Sunday Devine Worship Service 9 a.m. on-site and on-line, and Monday evenings at 7 p.m. on-site.

Sunday Devine Worship Service 9 a.m. on-site at Mount Olive and on-line video via Facebook live and recorded audio posted later on this website

In light of the lifting of the shelter-in-place order today, Mount Olive will resume services on Sundays, starting April 26th at 9:00 am and Monday nights at 7:00 pm.
We are able to worship without a limit as to the maximum number of people in attendance as long as we can maintain appropriate social distancing. (Families already living in the same house do not have to distance.) We should have enough room to adequately do this as long as (and this may the the hardest part) you are willing to sit in a pew you may not be accustomed to. We will adjust as needed as Sunday morning unfolds. Please be patient and willing to move seats!
Please consider also, out of love for your neighbor, the suggestions from the governor’s office. If you are sick, have been in contact with someone who has the virus, or are in a high risk category, err on the side of caution and stay home and stay safe. During the phased rollback we will continue to livestream services and Pastor will offer communion during the week for those who desire it.
Plan on the service taking a little longer than usual. To not leave the elements for communion out longer than needed and to not handle and waste more than is needed we will take a count on Sunday morning of how many wafers and individual cups we will need and set up that morning. We will also wipe down the communion rail between each group and have fewer people at the rail each time to allow for social distancing.
Please plan on taking the hymnal you use Sunday home with you. This will eliminate us needing to wipe them all down, prevent others from potentially picking up germs from them, and allow you to use them during the week for family devotions.
Bible class will follow the service this Sunday and we will determine which space will best allow us to social distance; the fellowship hall or staying in the sanctuary.
Good news and Bible classes will also resume on Wednesdays starting next week, in the fellowship hall, to allow for adequate social distancing.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call, email, or visit with Pastor McCall. Thank you all for your patience, prayers, and support these past weeks.
Looking forward to Sunday!
-Pastor McCall
