Starting Wednesday, October 5th at 6:30 p.m. Mount Olive will offer a class from Dr. Joel Biermann, professor at Concordia Seminary St. Louis, on “Man and Woman in Christ”. This class was the most popular and most requested class by students at seminary. As a result Dr. Biermann gave and recorded a shortened version for laity as well. The class is eight weeks long and well worth the time. Given our cultures misunderstanding of gender and gender roles this is a very timely class. Each session will be about an hour long with time for Q&A afterwards with Pastor McCall. Pizza and coffee AND cookies will be provided.

What are Sacraments? Why do Lutherans practice closed communion? What is the source of our theology? What is the Bible all about? If you have ever had these kinds of questions and more, join us! Starting tomorrow, September 5th, Pastor McCall will hold new member classes for those interested in learning more about our church or just as a refresher for those who are already members! We’ll start at 6:00 p.m. but may adjust that time as needed.

  • Calling all the ladies! Joins us in the Fellowship Hall for a popcorn and movie night and stay for some laughter and fellowship! Bring a friend! Come early, movie starts at 6:00 p.m.
  • Facing battles left and right? Come watch War Room with us and be  encouraged and reminded, prayer is our greatest weapon! With Jesus,   we can face anything! See you there! Any questions? Ask Alicia Wold
